I will start (since at this moment I am the only member). I am a native Washingtonian, growing up in Montgomery County where I still live. I also happen to be a part-time resident of DC. Whenever my…Continue

Comment by SAM on May 6, 2013 at 10:24am Just wondering if y'all know of any writing critique groups or courses in the NoVa area? I'm at the southern end in Fredericksburg, but I am very interested in this.

Comment by Kelly Sajonia on December 18, 2012 at 10:14am I agree with you Eldon! I would not want to be their next door neighbor.
Comment by Eldon Sarte on December 18, 2012 at 9:42am Hello Kelly
Best holiday tradition? Avoiding "Christmas Eve in Washington" on the radio, right up there in the annals of worst songs ever in recorded history.
I know that house in Reston. Close to a friend's place. See it every year... definitely a must-see. And I have a feeling that some of the neighbors aren't all that pleased with all the attention and gawker traffic. :)
Comment by Kelly Sajonia on December 18, 2012 at 8:56am Hey, DC Area Bloggers....what is your favorite holiday tradition in the DC area?
I love the Winter Lights Festival with the kids in Gaithersburg.
I also found a new tradition after experiencing something really wonderful in Reston last weekend. I will be back with the kids each year. You can read about it here:

I can get the address of the house for anyone who wants to drive by.

Comment by Eldon Sarte on September 28, 2012 at 9:59am Can't say I'm a native, but sure have been here long enough to know whereof you speak. :) Am currently in limbo, "writer" friends-wise, since I lost my MoCo friends with the move and not picking up any new ones when I got here. Everyone else is on the Net. Not quite the same as the old days. There's a brewing blog post in there somewhere. :)
