Here you can share your short fiction pieces,character building and plot tips, and even writing contests you come across.

Comment by November Rain (k~) on March 3, 2013 at 9:36pm Nice to meet you. I've been a bit of a ghostly presence most places as of late, but I will move around from here to there, and I pay better attention than it might seem ;-)
Comment by Jester Queen (Jessie Powell) on February 28, 2013 at 10:19am Ahaha! No it's good. We hook up all the time around here. {insert Monty Python *wink wink nudge nudge*}

Comment by Rosalind Smith-Nazilli on February 28, 2013 at 10:10am Hello everyone... I am a Flash Fiction story teller and write at least on short every day for one challenge or another.. I particularly love image prompts but have done a couple of music ones in the last couple of weeks.
I find multi word prompts a real challenge and have to dedicate time to them whereas normally I like to write what I say or hear...
Nice to hook up with you all... Still finding my way round just now...
Comment by L. M. Leffew on January 10, 2013 at 12:16pm I've been battling with blank page anxiety lately, but finally wrote some fiction again for the Inspiration Monday prompt at BeKindRewrite, so I thought I'd share:

Comment by According to Jewels on November 18, 2012 at 2:02pm I have another piece to share with you that I just published. Pink Hydrangea was a piece inspired by a photo. I love taking photos I find and using them for inspiration for my writing. If you haven't tried it before...give it a go.
Comment by Vinny C on October 6, 2012 at 11:51pm I can't believe I did it, but I actually went ahead and wrote a fictional piece. Then I hit publish. Now, I'm sharing it. I don't know what happened either.
Comment by David Wiley on September 14, 2012 at 7:43am This is a great group idea. I love that there are places here where I can fit in as a fiction and poetry blogger! While I have dedicated a lot of time lately to writing poems and a longer work of fiction, last night I got back to the shorter fiction.
If we're posting links to a piece of short fiction from our blogs, I suppose I will have to go with one of my more popular ones.

Comment by According to Jewels on September 13, 2012 at 10:03pm I love that Kimberly! Give it a try. My first ever piece of short fiction I posted on my blog was actually from a Studio 30 Plus prompt. That was almost 2 years ago. I love the challenge. I stunk at first but now I think I'm pretty decent. It's definitely something you have to work on. I can't get enough of it now, though. I can't wait to read what you write.
Comment by Kimberly Rues on September 13, 2012 at 8:52pm I have to say, I don't see myself as a fiction writer YET. But I have decided that I'll never be one, unless I stretch myself.
