Unsettled Bloggers

Sometimes funny, sometimes deep, sometimes creative, sometimes angry, sometimes erratic or even neurotic. Most times in the middle of two unknown places. Always hard to describe. Does not fit into one little square, and most questions are answered with "It depends".

Have any of you come up with 2013 blog resolutions?I didn't really have any set goals in mind for last year... basically, write more, bring in more readers. I did achieve those goals, but I'm wanting…Continue

Unsettled? Perhaps.  I have moved more times than I can count and speaking of counting, I talk to a numerologist (like a psychic) often.  She has turned into a good friend.  I just asked her today if she would read the series I am working on.  I've never told her my blog address or let her read anything because I feel I need to keep her at some distance to get a proper reading!  Oh my, I've gone off on a tangent.  Yes yes, unsettled but i am calm!!

I think I finally found my blogging niche. I am unsettled :-)

I'm having trouble writing about anything other than hoboes.  I know that''s not going to get me any more readers, but I kind of don't care.  For now, it's fun.  Soon will come The Wall, or the realization that I'm down to only one reader, and I'll be forced to make an adjustment.  Soon...

WRITING BUDDY!!! Yes! Want... Need... Must... Have... A writing buddy! For reasons beyond me, I've absolutely neglected my writing. I need to dive back into it, but I'm stumped! I'd rather sit and look out the window than do what I really love doing. Why is that?

First of all, fantastic name for a group. As one person said, we are all unsettled so that's why we blog and write. Nothing helps you unearth who you are quite like writing. For me, that's the beauty of it. I get to discover stuff I never knew was there and each part pieces me together a bit more into Who I Am

So goals:
1) better, richer writing and vocabulary
2) letting my blog evolve organically, without fear of not being who others have come to expect me to be
3) educating myself more about the technical side- how to do this blog formatting, blinkie, button, code stuff

Thanks again for starting a great and needed discussion!

Kelly -- Where is this S30P group on FB of which you speak? I only can find the page? Is there also a group?

Comment by K Castillo on December 18, 2012 at 1:30pm

Maybe that would be something that would help me write more.

I like the idea too. The freedom to write on your own schedule is great, but we all know how life has a way of stepping in & making you put things like writing on the back burner so you can put out whatever fires got started. I, for one, am dealing with that right now.

A writing buddy can be a great way of not neglecting that part of your life.

Let's brainstorm on this for 2013 Charlotte (in the S30P team group on FB) so we can get this rolling.
