The big guy didn't see his shadow this year, which means spring will be here sooner than expected. Well, if you believe in groundhogs predicting the weather, that is.
Regardless of your beliefs in the adorable furry guy, spring will eventually arrive. This week's submission guideline is weather related, too.

OK, this is going to be a stretch, but work with me. In the winter months I like to come home right after school. The boys and I do homework, play, whatever. But as Spring approaches, the days get longer and I'm not so eager to get home right away. Unfortunately, that means I tend to take my kids with me on errands and things. That rarely ends well. See, this is kind of Spring-ish, right?

I was shocked to find nothing about spring on my blog, so I remedied the situation by cranking out this little bit of hope. (and yes, there's a touch of baseball in there)
