Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, the Weekly Spotlight theme is Valentine's Day/Love. Shocker, right? Actually, I was thinking about making the Pope's resignation the theme, but thought there wouldn't be a plethora of writing in which to choose from for linking up.
You know the drill: share a link in the comment section that ties into the theme, visit a few other writers, and share the post to spread the readership love.
Have a great writing day today!

Comment by Jenna Farelyn on February 15, 2013 at 8:07am I started a new blog, which has more of a life/ramblings focus than creative writing... but my first post there is a letter to my boyfriend for Valentine's Day that I thought I'd share here :) http://thefrelleshow.com/2013/02/words-i-cant-say-out-loud-on-valen...

Comment by Joe Scott on February 13, 2013 at 9:41pm Okay. Couldn't help it. Here's a love letter to my [Maris], peppered with artistic license, so as to be more interesting to outsiders. Sometimes, my dark fog lifts, revealing (apparently) a hopeless romantic...
Comment by Christa Dillman on February 13, 2013 at 8:56pm I don't have the most conventional view of Valentine's Day and this post inspired me to write a little bit about how I personally celebrate/see February 14th.
Comment by The Lonesome Jackalope on February 13, 2013 at 2:16pm It's time to put an end to all this madness and heartache. I've sent Saucy the Jackalope out on a covert mission, one to restore sanity to our culture. Freedom is coming...
Comment by KGWaite on February 13, 2013 at 12:33pm HA! Someone at my daughter's class said the Pope gave up the Papacy for Lent.
Comment by Kelly Sajonia on February 13, 2013 at 12:20pm So, here's my take on Valentine's Day for men this year: a how-to survival guide. You are welcome (men and women).
Comment by Joe Scott on February 13, 2013 at 11:11am I might have one or two others, but I'm particularly fond of this one. It reflects aspects of my own soulmateship with [Maris], in that there is sweet lurking beneath the silly. Always.
Tito, get me a tissue...
